The GDS® CAN Bus with FMS Connector (RAM-GDS-CAN-FMSU) revolutionizes the traditional CAN Bus, featuring a Direct-To-Tablet broadcast that allows the CAN Bus to broadcast unparsed HEX data directly to your tablet without the need of a SIM card or third party subscription service. Since the HEX data communicated follows Open SAE J1939 Standard Protocol, you can pick from any 3rd party app to process and present your vehicle's messaging. By cutting out 3rd party USB adapters from the traditional CAN Bus to the tablet, this all in-one solution provides power and data directly from the vehicle to the tablet keeping it charged while on the road. The GDS® CAN Bus features three distinct lights so drivers are constantly aware of the device's status: the red light indicates that the GDS® CAN Bus is detecting power, the blue light indicates that the CAN Activity is present, and the green light indicates that the GDS® CAN Bus is charging the device. Always Protected. Always Connected.®
